Lol, I live in the low AZ desert, THERE ARE NO PRETTY LEAVES. We have trees with tiny little leaves and some pines only. I do have a pine tree with some little pine cones though! I miss the Midwest and East!

We have a small chest of drawers by the front door that the kids would put things they found on…feathers, nests, rocks, flowers, driftwood, interesting dead insects etc. I loved and encouraged our children to collect things from nature. It really builds that “ curious eye” that appreciates our beautiful world.

Hey Linda. I grew okra this year snd at the end of the growing season I let them get large and then cut the stem long. I put them on a baking sheet at 300 degrees in the oven until they dry. Then I put them in a basket or use them in my fall arrangement. They are beautiful dried out!
