I’ve been growing this guy this summer after I got it and it’s definitely been putting on height where I want no it to be shorter and fuller. I did see a video showing the pruning it to promote low branching which I think I finally maybe want to take it down a bit over 1/2 the height and tip some of the lower branches. Figuring maybe to rehome it to a forever pot at the same time since I know they don’t like being repotted. I just want to be able for it to be manageable for the greenhouse and that I won’t need to repot it again. Curious on what folks who have these feel. Been so afraid to hack it down any but it’s getting too think and lenky that I just want a fuller smaller plant. Think that pot is like a 30 gallon if I remember and I plan to keep the greenhouse warm all winter as well (upper 60’s for lows hopefully).

  1. At least start by topping it so that main shoot doesn’t keep running away on you. You can decide later if you want to take it back further, but halting the leader will help push growth outward.

I wouldn’t do a heavy prune and a repot at the same time. Pick one or the other and then in spring do the other.
