I love growing wine cap mushrooms in my garden because of how easy it is! Once you have the sawdust spawn ready you can just spread it outside on some wood chips and cover with straw, then just water every few days to keep it hydrated. The mushrooms grow very fast within just 2-3 months and will keep growing even the following years, you may want to add more wood chips to keep it fruiting year after year. I choose a shaded area under some vegetable plants and that works very well.
