I’ve had so many technical difficulties this week so I am sorry the video is late! I lost a whole day’s footage plus 2 years of raw footage when my hard drive went down. Ugh, technology.

Never the less I got our winter salad greens planted in the tunnels this week so they can get growing and start to feed us!

Thanks for watching, until next time.

  1. There are free recovery tools for the drive and tricks like putting it in the freezer in a ziplock with desicant, I've even had to keep it in the freezer while trying recovery.

There are also profesional companies who have some really fancy tools and methods that aren't too bad priced maybe a few hundred bucks iirc.

  2. Please make a video on how to start the soil plugs. I have never seen that and I also hate pushing the plugs out of the individual trays. Thanks!!

  3. if the hard drive isn't a solid state drive, try sitting it upside down. lots of data recovery options as well as others have mentioned.

  4. Feed your cows garlic to get rid of the horse flies. It won't affect the milk. You wont taste it. It will affect the beef but you want garlic on your beef anyway..lol.

  5. I might be able to fix the hard drive. If its solid state its easy to fix. If it has RPM's sometimes it can be fixed as long as the bearings are not wore out or the head has not crashed into the disks. You have my email address if you want me to try to fix it for you. I'm a 24 year IT vet.

  6. Never watched your videos before. Very interesting. I was flabbergasted when your daughter entered the video to help you plant. My goodness you don't look old enough to have children much less be a high school graduate, you look so young. Must be that good farm life keeping you looking young. My wife has the same virtues , she is 64 and looks 40. Keep up the fine work.

  7. Dandelion greens?? We call them weeds here in Maine…..I remember my grandmother used to go out to the back lawn and carefully dig the damn things up and we`d have a vegetable for supper that night………Brussel sprouts–the veggie meatballs
