We gave interior designers Noz Nozawa, Kat Bell, and Hema Persad a photo of the same outdated 1960s kitchen—and then asked each of them to renovate it in their particular style. Three artists, one canvas, each bringing something different to the space. Which designer’s renovation can you see yourself bringing into the 21st Century?

  1. A shelf across the window? No way..! Veggies all over the walls, and the worst yellow ever? You got to be kidding!

  2. The kitchen with the red floor is really the best, and its designer is the less annoying too! 😅🎉
In the yellow kitchen some drawers won’t open in real life! 😱

  3. When Noz Nozawa is one of the Space Savers, I say to myself " The genie in the bottle". At times, after I have seen her designs, I shake my head and utter "WHO let the genie out of the bottle!". At other times, like for this design, I say" Fly genie fly!" Whatever. She is always exciting, and watchable. The one to watch,

  4. I always love this series, seeing impractical designs and crazy structural remodels is always interesting haha but I liked Hemas design, with small changes

  5. Despite appearances, a pot filler in a small kitchen is super practical if more than one person is in there at a time. It saves having to try to dance around each other every time someone needs water at the stove. I put one in my last kitchen (a galley measuring 6’ x 10’) and it completely changed the functionality of the space

  6. Before was pretty cute. I could live there if I couldn’t redo it. I’d maybe do different wallpaper, but it was cute as is. When I first heard the designer say vegetables, I was like, what? That’s so done. BUT, I ended up loving that space! Really loving it. It was happy, fun, whimsy. I could see myself making my morning tea and cooking eggs, too! I really loved the cabbage light! So very cool! I actually have some cabbage stuff. Big bowl and plates. The one with the door to the outside was WAY amazing, as long as there is something nice outside the door. I think the veggies and door would make a great combo. The one with warm pinkish colors was fantastic! I would probably have stopped the shelf just short of the window on either side, but the rest was amazing! I guess I’m still a little too inside the box. I’m thinking window washing. BUT, fantastic color choices! The cabinets are amazing! I really LOVED them. A super retro vibe. Any of you are welcome to redo my spaces anytime! 😄 IF I had to pick just one, which is impossible to do…it’s the vegetables! I had some cool veggie stuff in the late 80’s early 90’s. I thought I was done until I saw that killer cute kitchen? I would be thrilled with all of them.

  7. Though I don't like anyone of these kitchen, I LOVE that floor-to-ceiling door and windows at 5:07. Saving it in my folder, just for that!

  8. The one that opened it up as a galley with a door was great…moving plumbing is costly…and that red sconce was a no…otherwise I liked that one. The other two were not my thing.

  9. @0:05, that is a lovely, although not real, kitchen. @2:27, I actually really like that, although the tiler won't. @4:20, love the yellow. @5:00, she has taken away a lot of storage in favour of a door that serves absolutely no purpose, and open shelving so that everything will be covered in a sticky dust. @6:29, no upper cabinets in a small kitchen? Drycleaning a kitchen window shade, in what world? @16:25, welcome to the dollshouse. 😂😂😂 That is the worse of a bad lot.

  10. the last lady is blocking out the natural light w the shelves. Its also useless for the shelves to be on the window since ud be blocking out a ton of light if you were to put something on them

  11. These designer's are amazing but this series makes me realize why its important for designers to have limits or critques because they all made one or two decisions that just kinda ruined the space for me
