  1. perfect! i grew a tunnel of sunflowers down to my garden… i have a ton of sunflower seeds along with purple coneflower seeds, i leave alot of them every winter for the birds

  2. Brilliant video. Great tutorial – very informative. However, where were you fifty years ago when I had a house with acreage and grew sunflowers…? Oh, that's right…never mind. Always a pleasure to watch you educate and elucidate: truly one of the most informative channels on the platform which also doubles and a spiritually calming balm. Thanks for everything that you do, and do so well.

  3. God bless you. You're an amazing person. The seed salesmen that teaches everyone to save seeds. You would think this would be the absolute worst way to run a business; but, charmed by your honesty and kindness like Chris Kringle at Macy's (Miracleon 34th street), I just cannot stop buying seeds from you. ❤

  4. I save my seeds. Sometimes i get grocery bags full. When theres an abundance i gorilla garden- spread them all thru the wild places in my community. If they grow great, if not hopefully the wild creatures got to eat and enjoy them💖

  5. I grew sunflowers in my pollinator garden from seeds specifically packaged as such, but also ended up with volunteer sunflowers from seeds dropped by the birds from their feed. It was kind of fun to see the different varieties pop up, including a reblooming sunflower plant which I’d never encountered before. (The sunflower had a large top flower but then sprouted smaller sunflowers along the multiple branches.) Thanks for the tutorial!

  6. Timely. Just cleaning out my sunflowers. I don’t need many and don’t mind sharing with wildlife around. Love watching the birds I wouldn’t get otherwise.

  7. Perfect timing for this video. I just cut out two larger dwarf Sunspots yesterday and was wondering what my next steps were. Thanks!

  8. Very interesting! You didn't mention which varieties are best for seeds that you harvest to eat. I would like to grow some for that.

  9. Thanks for this video and perfect timing! A couple of mine had fallen right over so I cut them all down today! Drying them out in the shed. 👍🏼😃🇨🇦
