These 4ish year old sunny yellow knock outs are west/northwest facing and got a lot of afternoon sun this summer. I thought they were suffering from the heat but now I'm worried about the dreaded Rose Rosette Disease 🫣
What do folks think?
I'm in Bastrop county and it's not listed yet as a site for it so I might be the first and would need to report it if that's what this is.

My roses get an overabundance of thorns and the blooms are shriveled-looking since they’ve had rose rosette.

Looks like a very stressed plant that needs water and fungal treatment. Clear all the dead leaves from the base.

That rose is suffering from Texas not fall forever, heat, stress, probably lack of water. Trim out the dead stuff and water well. Also this area is getting killed by chili mites. Which causes damage that can mimic RRD. They are mostly untreatable and are horrible.
