I'm not in the US so have no access to these products 😣 but I've recently been using sprinkles of all purpose flour to control my chewing pests like worms and grasshoppers. I still squish them if I see them, but my leaves are looking heaps better. Whenever I rinse the leaves the plants seem to go through a growth spurt. Just found out that apparently flour contains nitrogen so it's also free fertiliser! Supposedly this also works on aphids. Wish I'd known that a few days ago. I saw some aphids and did the soap water and baking soda spray. Ended up burning the leaves and the plant died. I'll just stick to the lazy flour way for now. 😆
I’ve had a horrible time with the spider mites!
Monterey BT helped save my plants from caterpillars and worms. A few kept popping up on my flowers every day until I sprayed. 2 applications and haven’t seen another one since. Been 2-3 weeks!
And DO NOT BUY READY TO USE SPRAYS. They are a waste of money; just buy the concentrated bottle and mix at your leisure, it goes a looooong way.
I used a whole rtu bottle in one sitting and regret for not buying the concentrated bottle sank in fast 😂
MAC sighting! Yes. Leaf miners on my peppers and spider mites? (Looks like spray paint overspray) on my beans. Temps near 100 next week up here in the 831!
I’ve had complete garden burnout with spider mite, I really must tackle the problem. Every time I essentially get rid of them on the plants, they’re back in no time. Could they be in the soils surface?
