  1. Thanks for letting us share your life in Helene….glad that animals and glass house were spared damage…peace to your hearts…He is still in control!๐Ÿ˜Š

  2. All of our family and most of our friends are in the Carolinas (we moved to Texas four years ago), and they have all said that itโ€™s the worst that they can remember. My best friendโ€™s elderly mom is in Mills River and they canโ€™t get in touch with her. This hurricane has been so awful. ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข

  3. Went thru hurricane Ian, not my first but definitely the worst. We were in the area right along the eye wall of the storm. 12 hours of devastating wind >140 mph. Thank God the house hung in there. Still suffer from ptsd when the wind kicks up. Prayers for you all.

  4. Just a heads up, your camera has two dead pixels on the sensor near the center of the image

  5. We're here in Florida we were blessed compared to the Big bend but Hernando county still got rocked hard . We have some bad damage all around us but our farm made it out with no damage. We still don't have power but our wonderful Linemen are working on it. God bless

  6. I was thinking about yโ€™all during the storm! Iโ€™m glad things werenโ€™t worse for you

  7. Well, now the boys have a fort ๐Ÿ˜…
And now you know what to plan for when the next storm comes.
Thankful y'all are all okay ๐Ÿ˜Š

  8. What a scary experience๐Ÿ™€๐Ÿ˜ฅThanks for sharing a first hand account to remind everyone not directly affected by Helene that we need to keep all those affected, in our prayers๐Ÿ™

  9. Glad you guys and properties are ok. All will grow and thrive again. Keeping up with friends in Ft Meyers, Tampa and NC, praying for the best! Looking forward to your updates, take care!

  10. Lots of prayers for you all dears ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™. GODBLESS YOU ALL. Be strong. God has this for you all . ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

  11. Mobil homes are the most dangerous homes dealing with Weather!
People live in them here in Florida, and weโ€™ve seen Mobil courts destroyed.
I pray ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป you are all okay as Iโ€™m just checking in at 2:00PM here on Friday. September 27th
I live on EAST COAST ~~FLORIDA near Space Coast Center NASA ๐Ÿš€
    Please reply ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ“– PSALM 121: 1-2

  12. Sorry. We were planning to get hammered in Alabama and it sounds like you got it instead. School was canceled and it has been just a gentle rain on and off with occasional mild breezes.

  13. Florence,SC here,we got lots of rain and winds and a few tornado watch/warnings, prayers for everyone. Gods blessings to allโค๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™Œ

  14. So glad you weathered this storm. Born and raised in FL, I live out west now…..LOL. Was up all night watching Ryan Hall weather as I have all 3 of my sons in North central FL, my best friend of 50yrs taking care of her father in Tallahassee and my parents are near you. When the storm took a turn east it missed a direct hit to Tallahassee and stayed north of my sons, but headed towards my parents and y'all, My mother told me "I thought we left this in FL!"

  15. When Hurricane Fran hit NC, we rode out a direct hit from a Cat 3 in a double wide. It was probably the scariest storm Iโ€™ve been through. The house shook constantly and the draft kept blowing the candles . I am glad yโ€™all are okay. My heart breaks for those who are in the path of the storm. I believe this storm caused significantly more damage than anyone could have predicted.

  16. Continuing to pray for you, your family and the community. Glad you are safe thatโ€™s the main thing.

  17. Tornado vs hurricane.
A similar comparison would be a speeding dump truck vs a freight train.
With the same wind speed, the hurricane will be many times worse.

  18. Grateful that you will be okay. It is a heavy blow, but if it had to happen, you were about to pull up and start another round anyway. Your family is strong and you will find some good, even in this.

  19. I'm so thankful y'all are ok. Praying for your community and for all those who have been affected by the hurricane/storms.

  20. Hey Miah & Jess, so glad y'all are okay. I live in a little brick house in Gilbert. I woke up a bit later than y'all to that terrifying wind. Huge trees around my house, but I'm safe, no trees fell. I wondered for awhile if we were getting a tornado! Whew!!! I thank God we're all okay.
