Sage and Brussels help!

Hi there! I was wondering if anyone could weigh in on a couple issues here.

1. My sage plant out front did great for most of the year this year but it and the thyme of recently looked like they are going down quick (my rosemary next to it looks happier than ever). They are planted in full sun and I've been worried about the quality of soil. Is it just the summer heat hurting them and they will bounce back or does anyone have any advice?

2. Something is eating my brussels sprouts ): was thinking of applying some botegha or something but wanted to know if anyone else has ideas on what it might be.
