  1. Can't think of Japanese houses like American houses. They're designed to be rebuilt every 20 to 30 years based on whether they are wood or concrete. Just something they don't really talk about in these cheap Japanese house videos.

  2. Ungh, wish I could move to Japan… I'll settle for me 2 month vacation/exploration… Would it be possible to meet each other when I do get to Japan?

  3. Wenn ich wie die Leute wäre, die das Haus verkauft haben, würde ich niemals zulassen, dass Änderungen vorgenommen werden

  4. You can't just remove previous owner(s') stuffs without legal basis or the previous owner(s) can sue you for damages. The proper way to do this is to seek enforcement in the local court. That costs at least around 1MM jpy depending how much stuffs were left inside.

  5. Not “how it looked like” but either “how it looked” or “what it looked like”. You have too many American friends. 😄

  6. Wait don’t you pay per trash bag or by weight over ts gotta be expensive(not fully versed in Japanese trash laws)🤣🤣

  7. near fukushima you can buy houses for 5 k because they are all radioactive poluted for the next 300 years

  8. Why not hold an online auction to sell all those items in benefit of helping the elderly or the homeless in Japan

  9. Buying a house in 2024: I have 15k

USA: Perfect that will cover 1 year of rent.

Japan: Here's a farmhouse with acreage and a seaside view. Did we mention it comes furnished?

  10. I live in one of the rainiest places in the world, Mountain View, Hawaii. Before you remove the roof, investigate all your options. If it’s not too badly rusted around the nails/screws, you can treat it with rust converter and simply patch it with the silver roofing tape. Then you can paint it with 2-3 layers of house paint afterwards. There are specialized roofing paints but even just some old paint someone is discarding will work. As long as it’s not too dehydrated, you can mix a bunch of old latex paints together and paint with that. Color is not so important as long as you can paint it on without having too many clumps. If there are clumps, you can run it through a sieve. Using a paint sprayer is also a good idea. Can make the process faster. If that’s too expensive, be sure to bag your brushes and rollers in individual bags between uses and store in the fridge or cool dark spot if it’s too hot 🥵. Paint has been designed to dry out quickly so covering brushes and making sure lids are secure between painting sessions will save you lots of cleanup and paint wastage.

  11. It's sad to see gorgeous houses like this got abandoned.. Some of the old stuff looks to be reusable as well

  12. beautiful house 😊 teach us how to find beautiful abandoned homes worth salvaging and estimated trash disposal and renovation costs too

  13. Hi, just ask. What about all kimonos? Did all kimonos in that house age to much? Do you sell it or throw out as trash too?

  14. I’m trying to imagine what the community of people in the vicinity is like?! If so many places are being abandoned in rural areas, the remaining residents may not welcome new people, especially non-locals or foreigners. And how are infrastructure and social services supported?
