working on the greenhouse setup. any advice about keeping this rain barrel inside over winter? I’m tired of carrying water to the greenhouse.

I have two of these but I think one will get me through the winter with watering- I do heat and insulate my greenhouse over winter to between 40-50F in the cold months to protect my avocado and citrus.
so I’m not concerned as much with temperature needs- though it would be a nice bonus.

it is on the south long side of the greenhouse. I got a tank deicer for cattle/horse drinking water to ensure it stays above freezing- I have electricity to the greenhouse, and solar backup with batteries as well just in case.

I’ve always had to carry water from the house out to the greenhouse to water and I hate it. I treat it with mosquito dunks regularly- is there anything I should do to keep it functional and clean in the greenhouse? I plan to run a short hose to the base to fill a watering can from.

Throw a small propeller to keep the water turning, it’ll keep it from freezing but you’ll still need to warm it up to not shock the plants when watering
