I do wish sellers would put upper zones on evergreens! I’m in the South and searching for evergreens for a privacy screen. It’s hard to make a decision because it’s hard to tell which type will thrive down here in zone 8a 😊

bindweed sneaked into my garage through a crack I never found. It was never as happy as its brothers out in the grass, but there are no windows or water sources unless the garage door is open a few hours. there was also road salt melting off a car. Still. it took two seasons of aggressive search and destroy tactics to knock it back. I still check for it every year, Tough stuff, that bindweed

Thank you for not doing “lives” on YouTube. Even for gardeners I follow and like, I find them the MOST boring things ever and no longer even attempt to watch them. I hope you realize how far superior your channel is to almost every gardening channel out there. The content is useful and relevant, and you have gotten the timing and quality down to an art. Even though I’m across the country in zone 7b and fight clay soil, heat & humidity, almost everything you do is helpful to me. I love your channel – don’t change a thing!
Regarding horses – check out PREs – Pura Raza Espanola. You do have breeders in your area. They are very beautiful and have very excellent characters. My first horse was a PRE because we lived in Spain when I was a child. I have many friends who have switched to them after years of loving other breeds and they are always impressed by how delightful they are….sweet, smart, kind and best of all they really care about their person. I have two now and they are a true joy.
Just an FYI. I loved loved loved it when Benjamin gave a narrative of the project. He’s adorable. Maybe it’s the grandma in me but the kids being involved is just THE cutest and so enjoyable 🥰

Regarding sped up videos…if I want to see it slower, I just slow my video during that stretch to see what I want and then back to normal speed.
I feel the same about spireas. I put in a few…getting ready to pull them and try something else.
