I think this is a big training camp for Matthew Robertson and Brennan Othmann ! I feel if Robertson outplays Zac. Jones , the thing he offers on the third pair , is Size @6'4" 220lbs. Which we need on the backline . Zac has lots of puck moving skills but is a really small size defenseman . As for Othmann I would be disappointed If he does not make the team out of camp for the 3rd or 4th line. He can bring a lot of energy and scoring and is not a one dimensional Player . I feel Adam Edstrom has an excellent chance to make Varsity as well. at 6'7" he also adds size to the Mix ! I feel both have way more upside than Sam Carrick or Jonny Brodzinski or Adam Erne do. They gotta go in and earn it . 🏒🏒🏒🏒 As fir the Power Play I feel Laffy deserves the minuteds there and that will help his Output. and Confidence . As for Reilly Smith , Honestly I think its wishful thinking , for a player past His prime . Hopefully kakko gets good minutes on 3rd line and earns opportunity to move up the lineup . The talent is there and he has a team friendly deal. That or they will be trading for another Right Wing at the deadline .
Management needs to decide if Trouba will be traded at the end of the season and if so he needs give up the Captain C and let someone else have it.
We all know management screwed this all up cause he should be gone already.
Is there any real chance Trouba has a stinker of a camp and somebody like Robertson takes off and Trouba gets waived
I don't understand what would upset Rangers fans like you said because I didn't expect Kakko to be on the first line he had his chance last year and he failed miserably.
I don't care if you put Hull on the right side off on the first line # 93 only scored 9 goals 5on5 all year it's time to move on bring the kids up !!!

The only way Kakko can begin to play better is if he is able to not be such a pu$$y and he can't. Kakko is a lost cause. he just doesn't have the physicality to compete at an NHL against top players. I don't know why you don't understand that… You say you know about hockey…
Smith should start on Line 1. Miller should be demoted to 3rd D pair based on his atrocious turnover numbers the last two consecutive seasons. Edstrom is the darkhorse surprise to make this roster as Will Cuylle did last season. He may even break through before Othmann.
