Is that acreage flooded?
Thank you for all the knowledge and insights you share. You have taught me a lot. 🪴
Dig your style brother…
That being said my ocd wants you to iron that color.
Sorry just my different age (gen x).
Try to find a section of lattic fence and grow the passion vine against it away from other plant's that makes it easier to maintain.
I'm glad you and the family came through the storm and power outage okay. Thanks for the video. Keeping up with things can be a handful. Stay safe. Gary , Tucson
Coz Earth is my planet, yesterday I got rid of my neighbor's invasive bush encroaching on my boundary, and today I added some homemade compost to my grass.
Yup, life's good!
😂 yea, I fucked up & planted some passion vines in my beds as well. Such beautiful flowers.. buttt monsters on taking over EVERYTHING! I've been pullin them up left & right everywhere they sprout.. but they rooted everywhere now. Oops 😬
Molly Whop???? That vine was taking over Glad you got sometime with the plants and your garden and you all are well 🙏Dr.Plantu Earth is our plan et🙌👍👊✌️💯
good to see you again, so glad ya'll are ok now, what a rough time that must have been, I am in TX but not in your area so I didn't get any of that
Can I have a few passion fruit babies!!!??
Dude, the mosquitoes! I live south of H-town & am convinced these mosquitoes aren't after blood anymore, they want our SOULS 😆 I've also got a love hate situation with passion vine but also with wild/native dewberry! I live in an acreage community, so I've moved mine to a fenceline and let it take over & trim back when it jumps off the fence but I mow over sprouts; both still fruit. I've spent a few years flipping my land back native and going nuts planting trees for people, birds and deer. Beryl knocked over a bunch but took out a 200+ year old pecan tree sadly! Found your channel while looking for DIY ways to create a wildlife watering hole & have enjoyed watching your efforts! Don't worry about your acreage and flooding, flatland flooding (acreage) versus urban flooding are vastly different. I lived on the SE side in Hou city limits for years, not in a flood zone and my house flooded (majorly) 5 times. Moved into a flood zone after harvey & this area has never had water in houses. just elevate your foundation and work the topography to create an intentional flood zone on your land. I'd say I've only seen 1 thing so far I'd add to your landscape, evening blooming flowers for night pollinators. I've got native 4 o'clock plants that are covered in hummingbird moths at night and they smell great but they reseed and sprout babies quickly! Keep spreading the word and kudos so far! Cuidate!
Glad you're doing well and to see you back.
❤
Dawg, u didn't have powa fo 6 days? Ur blessed ur provider isn't PG&E of Cali, you'd be out a month. I got 2 Passionfruit vines They grow buckwild but the fruits are so good in smoothies. I love the alien lookin flores! "Urth es ma plont"
. Hi Paul . Well done .Wonderful cleaning and you can plant the passion vine in another place and make a trellis for it . The plants look so pretty in the back yard and you can add more flowering plants . Have a great week .🌿
Damn its gonna come right back
Don't leave it so long, I really enjoy your videos.
Best of luck. Love your native garden. And passion flower is my favorite plant also. Well one of them. Good luck with the weather
Beryl affected you too?! Sending good vibes from Jamaica…I didn't have a bad experience with Beryl but many other people did and some people still don't have electricity back 🙁
It’s great to hear you reminding your viewers that they should keep their native plants neat looking. If not it puts off those who are considering native plants. Well done
Fire update
Thanks Paul! nice cleanup.
yeah i’m curious to see how your new property looks after enduring the hurricane. 👍🏾
Vines are some of my favorite types of plants, but those fellahs can get ruthless. I end up always having to monitor and trim them to keep them where they belong.
Paul– Thanks for the inspo to tidy up the most neglected part of my garden. Much love from my bonsai and native garden in Toronto!
Love the updates!
