Hi, I’m Kalem, and this channel features all sorts of unusual and exotic fruiting plants with tips of how to successfully grow them. I’m interested in all things gardening and love growing my own food and all types of edible plants.
I live on a 2 acre piece of land in New Zealand where we are turning a grass paddock into and abundant, edible paradise and food forest! So come along on this journey with me as I experiment with growing, and try to push the limits of what I can grow. I’ll share with you my successes and failures so hopefully you’ll learn from them and have a go yourself! Come learn with me and Subscribe to join this awesome community 🙂

Muito bom eu tenho ❤
Oh funny, I was literally just discussing that I should plant one of these.
🔥
The ones I find at the grocery store are too astringent for my taste. I hope they taste better fresh off the plant
Is it cold hardy?
Hi it's me Bonita from Cape Town South Africa I have that plant 👍✌️
We call them physalis 😊
Also called ground cherry 🍒
I successfully harvested my first ones last week in northern germany 🙂
I've only ever heard these called Goldenberries but it makes sense they'd be a type of gooseberry
It's physalis. It's amazing, it grows almost wildly at my neighbour garden
I love that they're also really tough small shrubs instead of weak herbs like how tomatoes tend to be lol
They make the most delicious jam. Easy to grow and prolific producers.
