  1. About the bristol situation with the statue. I 100% agree with feeling of wanting to take it down but at the same time i appreciate history alot and for me it would of been cool to put another statue next to that one they destroyed, showing the change of each era

  2. Hello neal if you come to London check out the London Dungeons and the London Aquarium they quite expensive but im sure you will enjoy them. They're both very close to the houses of Parliament. Also, the imperial war museum is good and is free.

  3. I think you could make a peanut butter sandwich sound amazing!!!!
I definitely want to see more reactions to the Dream to Journey Family!!!!
    MORE PLEASE!!!

  4. That was a great wee video to react to, i haven't seen them before. So looking forward to watching you making your own videos on Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Ireland too. (hope it's not too far off) Enjoyed that cheers 😀

  5. Sadly to me as someone now old, the issue of forcefully pulling down some statues here was to the shame of those who not only did it, but also encouraged it and allowed it to happen . . . it was still a part of our history, no matter what, good or bad . . . The same idiots never thought that this same country was also invaded many times back in the day – by Vikings, Saxons, Normans, even the Barbary Coast Pirate slave traders from Africa who also pillaged and took white slaves from the coasts of Europe back to Africa to sell off . . . and so few of them even know about this knowledge wise, or knew that it was the African's themselves who were selling other African's into the world of slavery, or cared . . . or that this country was the first to try and put a stop to it either, and at a huge cost to it! Just a shame we couldn't have rounded all of them up and banished or exiled them for their own stupidity . . .

  6. I used to work in Bath and lived in a place nearby called Frome (love that place). Born next to Stonehenge. Beautiful place, where I grew up :).

  7. I just watched your video about pronouncing British place names. I have to tell you that young Mum is saying Bath wrong. It should be said as barth. Also the style of architecture is Georgian after King George, not gregorian. I have swum in the Roman baths at Bath back in the 1970s.
Yes the baby girl is very cute.

  8. Bristol never had slaves passing through. All the trade happened in the West Indies only. Bristol did benefit from the trade, in the imports produced by the slaves, but they were never in the city, except as freed slaves.

  9. I wonder why people never question and vilify the history of the East African Slave Trade by the Arabs which was several centuries older than the Western Slave Trade? And it was even more brutal.

  10. What are you talking about that he has no accent every body has an accent there is no one who does not have an accent

  11. I grew up in Bath, the opening scene of Pultney Bridge over the river Avon brought back fond memories of jumping off that bridge into the river in the 80's.
Yes, Bath is stunning and you could spend a year exploring the beauty of the city and the surrounding area and not all of its character. But there is so much more to see in the UK, everywhere.
Big thumbs up from me, your content brings a big smile to my face man👍

  12. Regarding the slaves
Its written in the magna carta in 1215 that any slave to set foot on British soil instantly becomes a free man
There are cases of enslved people being freed just by getting off a boat
African slaves never came to Britain, the boats went straight from west Africa to the americas
Britain ended the slave trade in the 1800s
Brazil was the last country to stop buying slaves

  13. Nice Reaction Neal. What you do not get to see with these travel videos is "all the other stuff" by which I mean cities, towns and villages, and the countryside around. Here in the east midlands there is Derby (Railway), Nottingham (Robin Hood?) and Leicester (Richard III) Between Leicester & Loughborough (LufBr') is Bradgate Park & Charnwood Forrest. Keep Reacting!

  14. A word of advice, my friend.

The further North you travel in the UK from London, the nicer and more friendly the people generally are.😉🤫

  15. Maybe I am biased but I would recommend Bristol as a place to stay. There is a direct bus every 30 minutes from the bus station which heads south to Wells and onto Glastonbury. It takes just over an hour to get to Glastonbury. Sit on the top deck as the country side is beautiful all the way. Also very regular bus to Bath which is about 30 minutes away. Bristol itself is an interesting and vibrant city. The footage of the statue of slave trader Edward Colston being pulled down and dumped in the dock in 2020 was shown on TV channels around the world.

  16. They missed what Glastonbury is really about. Look at a video Beltane in Glastonbury then you will really get a feel for it. Find the Green Men carrying the maypole to the centre of the town. That will surprise you😅

  17. That was so wholesome.I actually felt my shoulders un-knot & my bloodpressure go down. But do some more comedy reactions. Some mothers do ave em.Just a suggestion. But youll laugh.

  18. One of the best things about the UK is that there are 22 airports and you can take flights to Europe via cheap airline carriers and you don't spend endless hours in the air!

  19. Stone henge…was at the end of the ice age …they had the last of the wollymanths.and alot of snow….to get the blocks on to ..well the built a snow ramp ..and pulled the stones over with the beats !! …yes they smarter than we give them credit for ..

  20. Thank you 😊 you made me so happy watching you react to how beautiful England is. I hope you make it here one day. If you ever come to Scotland, I'd be happy to show you around. ❤

  21. I was lucky enough to live in Larkhill, literally a stones throw away from Stonehenge. Beautiful part of the country.

  22. I love my country but, this time I think I loved seeing your reaction more! I hope you get to come visit us soon, I'm sure you'll have loads of us happy to be a tour guide 🙂

  23. The Colston statue was toppled by the usual contigent of leftie extremists from Antifa, BLM, LGBTQ+, SWP etc. I though it was disgraceful action at the time and I still do, whatever Colston did. I don't know the full story but apparently, he eventually felt guilty for his slave trading and tried to make amends by doing good works in Bristol. Regardless of this though, I don't agree with removing historic statues and I most certainly don't agree with mob rule vandalism. I would have had no problem if enough people had petitioned to get the statue removed and it was achieved democratically, but what they did was criminal and the police just stood and watched them do it. I also think it's ridiculous and sacrilegious that a medieval cathedral is having ancient "politically incorrect" stain glass windows replaced with new ones depicting woke nonsense. These revisionists are trying to rewrite history and bury the past. But that's just what I think. Glad they went to Wells – the cathedral there is magnificent though I was disappointed they left out Vicars' Close which is supposed to be the oldest surviving medieval street in Europe. 😀

  24. I love listening to your reactions, you have such a gentle soul, I hope you are able to visit the UK soon, you will be nade very welcome.🤗
I live near the places featured in the south of England, I'm on the coast in Dorset, so they are easy to visit. We have a lot of the same here too In fact the whole of the country is packed with historical buildings/sites. You can't miss them!!
Bath Abbey is magnificent, as is the entire city, also Wells Cathedral, a real gem.
I can definitely give a 👍 to Cardiff. It is a small but beautifully formed capital city, with the Castle being the icing on the cake in the city centre 🤪 Visitors should go away from the centre to district of Llandaff to see the Cathedral, which is delightful. Wales punches above it's weight, as they say, with beauty, culture, sporting achievements, etc.
York is 38:08 beyond gorgeous 💝
As much as I love London, visitors should definitely explore the whole of the UK. Big praise points for Scotland & Northern Ireland too, all the components of the UK are equal in importance, if not size 💖
Now, as for rain 🤔 it does rain more the further north you go, but it must be remembered that water=life, so it's no big deal. We wouldn't be as lush and beautiful without it. Just pack your brolly!☔
