  1. Always a joy to see a notification from you. It's always encouraging and realizing it's okay to step back and re-evaluate. I definitely understand the desire to move and be closer to family and friends. Being isolated can become daunting over time. Business allows us the funds to take care of essentials and some luxury, but maintaining our relationships are key to our mental health. I look forward to your journey to your final home. Love and Blessings 🙏🏽🙏🏽😊💞❤️

  2. I completely understand where you guys are. We moved from Ohio to New Jersey for my 'day job' I work in NYC, live in central Jersey. At first it was tolerable, now it's just tedious. We've been here 2 and a half years and I'm already considering a move. I hope it works out for you guys and you find something perfect! Hope you enjoyed your trip!

  3. You are loved! I think your current house is gorgeous but you have to do what makes you happy, not what makes me and other soapers happy. My last house purchase was a little disappointing too, but unless prices go way down, which would also include my house, I have to stay where I am. HOAs and not having land to spread out are kindof a bummer, so I get it. I will pray for you to make the right decision on your forever home. I love your videos, your soap and style. Best of luck with all your endeavors!

  4. I'm with you about wanting something smaller and cozier, rather than a huge gigantic house. My dream would be a cozy cottage in England, with a soap making studio.

  5. I just moved 1500 miles and walked away from a great job to be with family. Family is everything. That house has you both all over it. I will pray you get it 🙏

  6. Yes that is so true unless u have a big family too big is too much. When I had my stroke in 2022 I came back home and I said OUT WITH EVERYTHING 😅😅😅 and I know live in a condo with a garage and I'm happy. All my arts and crafts are with me including my beloved books, that's all I need. Good luck.

  7. Sometimes, we have to let things go and prioritise what's important. I agree that being close to family is important and a necessary support network. ❤

  8. When you see your dream house you will know exactly when you find it. Your heart will skip a beat and your mind will keep thinking about that house. Do some exploring homes on your own without your realtor. Keep in mind the process could take months to find the right place. We are drawn to certain places for certain purposes. The house you are meant to have will happen naturally.

  9. I am glad you'r giving yourself some Grace, it's a lesson we tend to learn later in life. Do what nurtures Jerika, we will still come along for the ride.

  10. The only consistent thing in life is change. Follow that inner voice and everything will be well. I'm loving the process of growth and style of your videos

  11. It's so important to learn how to pace yourself! and I know I've said it here before, but your business should support your life, not the other way around! Never feel bad about needing to slow down to rest, recoup , and regroup, You will find the perfect for you place and it will all work out. Also thank you for taking us all on that beautiful get away trek! I love that part of the country.

  12. I will be sending prayers, so everything goes as planned, God can grant the wishes of your heart! 🙏
I love your products as well! 💜

  13. Oh Jerika….I WAS EXCITED to see You had posted a video……I read the previous comments and was so impressed with the kind thoughts…the willingness to share perspectives ……the grace people are willing to bestow as we all just keep marching on doing the best we can with what we have……house hunting has its ups and downs……ant the great thing You live in a gorgeous cottage and are not be formed into making quick decisions…..You will know when You see it…..

  14. This was still awesome to keep up with what’s going on with you. As a new Maker I love to hear about the things you share & I also love the Vlogs & it’s absolutely gorgeous scenery. I hope everything goes well with your househunting and you can take care of yourself and get a little rest before the holidays. Busy busy

  15. I think you handled this very well. People buy from you, your character in your brand, your moments, disappointments and laughter you express. This is your world seen through our eyes

  16. What a beautiful and transparent video. I’m one of your patrons and I’ve watched you and your husband grow over the past three or four years. It’s beautiful to see. Good luck in finding your next big adventure. 😊

  17. Enjoyed your beautiful vlog. That was a stunning spot you guys stayed for the weekend in the cabin. That property looked good & sounded promising. Hope it works out. All the best with your house hunting.

  18. It's very stressful looking for a home especially one that ticks all the boxes. You will know when you have found the right one and it will happen. Hang in there!!!

  19. Hi, love the veiw, the mountain and the water falls. Where is this place located? Where is this cabin you stayed? I love to visit one day. I appreciate the info

  20. All the best dear Jerika.and Cale. Family is everything to me even.if i lived in a hut i would still want to be close to them. God bless. ❤

  21. 💜💜💜
There was a definite vulnerability in your video today that I don’t think I’ve ever seen. Thank you for allowing us to gradually see the unmasked version of yourself. It can be tough opening up to strangers, it takes courage and confidence. The more I get to know you, the more I identify with you as a person – and that’s what keeps me coming back to your videos. The reason I started was because of the “making” aspect, which I always love to see, but the reason I keep coming back is because of your personality and your honesty. As a fellow soap maker I completely understand the burnout and applaud you putting your mental health first.
Thank you for another great video. 💜💜💜

  22. Things happen for a reason. I have every confidence that you will get where you want to be, but it won't happen till the time is right. Chin up hun. Just look how far you've already come from your 9 till 5 job and there's lots more good and amazing things to come.

  23. totally get it i myself finally said no to content creator work and go to just making and selling which is what i have wanted to do al along. I love creating my soaps and body items that is now my focus, Keep going this is your business remember do what is best for you and Caleb. Family first. Hugs from yelm

  24. You have such a great attitude!! Loved this video. And 1 formula a week is too much!! I bet your patrons would be happy with one a month. Formulating is difficult!

  25. I lived in Washington State, Snohomish county area, my whole life, which I'm 42, but my business grew so exponentially, since 2018, that there was nowhere I could afford to buy in the area of Washington, I wanted to stay, that was close to family and have the space I needed, so we ended up moving to Michigan in July and bought a house in Ann Arbor. On 3 and a 1/2 acres that has a gigantic Pole barn that is being converted into my studio/warehouse. But it was literally a quarter of the cost of what we would have had to spend in Washington State to get the space we needed to grow my business, and it's beautiful in Michigan. I love Washington, but Michigan is also extremely green and so much nature and beauty that i'm glad I made the decision.

  26. 2 acres is plenty for a hobby farm, it'll be easier to maintain. If you do get sheep, it would probably be best to get ones that you don't have to shear. Also just like goats, sheep can & will get parasites that can take them out quickly, so it's a constant watch for that as well. I wish y'all the very best!!! ❤

  27. Very hard to be far from family! I haven’t seen mine for almost 3 years. We are in different countries far away from each other
