  1. Yes paint the floor! It will be amazing, maybe an olive shade. Would match perfectly with the walls, the cabinets, the yuta carpet egt !😊

  2. Congrats on the homeownership of your new place! Congrats on the move too!

From our view, that kitchen looks like it has great potential for updating! Good luck on trying to retain that '90s/'00s cabinets. If you can't work the color, you can sand them down and re-stain them to a different wood shade.🤷‍♀Cute screened-in porch. 💕 That wall looks like it has no insulation seeing how tight the gaps are from window frame to window frame to door. 😬 I would monitor the lows on that outdoor temperature gauge on your wall. Since it's a concrete patio, I don't know how peel-and-stick stands up against moisture when the concrete absorbs the moisture from the earth below during the wet seasons. And, I'm assuming your home inspector tested those outlets on that wall too? Don't forget to test to see which breaker they're using. If you wanna work on the floor, you should start and finish it BEFORE the wet season, depending on if that concrete floor does sweat. OR wait until the wet season is over.

  3. Looking forward to the transformation of your new space! That bathroom window is going to be amazing!!😊

  4. When we moved to FL in 2021 our walls and ceilings were also entirely beige! The house was built in 2016 and our realtor said the previous owners had probably just not wanted to worry about edges. 😅

  5. I honestly vote clean and paint the concrete in the immediate time with a rug like you talked about and live with it a while. I wouldn't think peel and stick tiles will last well on concrete.

  6. Oh Becca your new house is going to be so beautiful, I really like that covered porch that looks like a sun room and I think painting the walls a brighter color will make it look so bright and pretty in there, and also fixing that sad looking floor with whatever you'd like to put down will also make it look so much better. I also really miss your beautiful greenhouse that you built. I think that shed made into more like a green house with lots of beautiful windows and that better door also will be so great. I am sure you will figure out the best locations for all of your cabinets that you put your plants on, I also love those shelves that are like bamboo they are so pretty. It's also so exciting how happy your dogs are and also your adorable little girl, she is so cute running around and singing with all of the music. Thanks so much for this great video and I will be excited to see your next one, Have a great rest of your day and the week coming up, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😂🥰💜💜💞💞💞💜💜

  7. Keep the concrete, it's a great surface for a plant sun room. Mine is and I never have to worry about floor damage with plant accidents, or dogs, or kids.

  8. Thankyou for sharing. You will soon add your stamp to your new home and you are going to love the finished product. Enjoy the journey, lots of new memories as a family, God Bless.

  9. One way to fix the cement floor is sanding it right back and putting some sort of sealer on top,not sure how much a cement sander is! Painted the cement is another cheaper and easier to clean up alternative. Love the house and that shed is so quaint,it would look great as a greenhouse! 💚💚🪴🌿

  10. Welcome to Oklahoma! OKC has some really nice plant shops and nurseries! I know you're going to feel right at home soon! I love your idea of adding vintage windows to the shed! 👍

  11. Simple green and a stiff bristle scrub brush should do for a quick cleaning on that floor. As for the shed do a lean to greenhouse off the back the entire length of the building!

  12. Love the house, the archways, the finishes, and the backyard!! Glad you all got there safely…whatever you do, it will be FAB (you are so talented!!) Exciting times!!

  13. I loveeeee these videos as inspiration! I know whenever I leave my current house it’s going to be so hard to leave behind all the projects I’ve accomplished- but I know the alternative is just not doing them at all which doesn’t make sense either. Everything is temporary so we need to enjoy it while we can 🙂 sooo excited to see you transform this new space and I love the idea of pulleys!!

  14. Love your new home! I would cry too leaving that greenhouse behind good thing is it's still yours. I'm 73 and have had many sad moments but have learned there's another adventure ahead. I can't believe your little one is walking. OMG she is so adorable. Please share a moment or to of her🥰 Looks like you have neighbours as the last place you were more isolated. You have a new canvas to create on. ❤

  15. could you add a lean to style greenhouse to the back or side of the shed to create a little sunroom aspect to the shed?

  16. I think it's normal to mourn the loss of a dream space I had something simular when I left my townhouse and broke down crying over leaving all of my plantings and trees behind that I put in. I love the arch doorway off the kitchen and the wood tone is lovely. Sunshine yellow will be so cheerful!!! OMG the shower window will be a dream space for any fern or calathia plotting you might have.
I'm excited for you all on this new adventure! If possible hire in some painters to take some of the burden off your shoulders so the more detailed spaces where you wanna do the details yourself on you are less stressed. The outdoor brick is lovely! The kitchen is so open and dreamy once you put your spin on it.

  17. Is that sunroom heated?? I love it! But I'm so sad you didn't get to enjoy your greenhouse very long 🥲

  18. Why not a greenhouse extension on the shed? And make the shed to a pottingshed. In Sweden it would be cheaper than order odd glass measurments.( I have no idea of how permits works in US)

  19. I think floating floorboards could look quite nice in that sunroom but the concrete would probably be easier to keep clean and you wouldn't have to worry about water damage. Greenhouse for the win!

  20. I feel like I missed a chapter 😅 have you touched on why you’ve moved or is that something you’re not comfortable sharing?❤ Exiting to get to decorate from scratch though!

  21. On the pulley system for plants I imagine like a pot hanger with hanging plants from it that is on a pulley. I feel like if you did solid platforms it would close in the space too much.

  22. Hi there! In a very similar situation, moved from Kentucky to Texas last month and have blank slate after blank slate and such decision and financial fatigue. It makes me feel better knowing that yeah, this moving thing is really hard. And it’s not just me. Following for inspo!

  23. Yes I'm sad… but also very excited for you. We know how much you love projects and I'm sure its going to be so fun to put this house together and I can't wait to follow the journey!

  24. Use the power washer! When I remodeled my house, my stone fireplace had been painted white. My father used a power washer to get off all the paint while I made sure the water didn't escape too far into the house with the shop vac. We had to empty the shop vac many times but it was absolutely worth it.

Also you can install a solar tube instead of a sky light. Its way less work and maintenance. Its the cheapest, easiest way to add light to a room!
